A Source of Creative Expression, Deep Connection & Transformation

This Mandala symbolism was first created by Carl Jung a noted psychologist and he began to explore the unconscious.

Creating a Mandala is a way for a person to strengthen the connective bond between themselves and the natural world and bring into the conscious mind that which is hides where it can then be examined.

When we remove ourselves from the busyness to slow down and tune into the natural environment answers emerge.

A Seven Step Personal Transformation

First Step: Powerful Purposefulness, (Finding Your Place in the World)

The essential truth of life is, we each have boundless potential and power to affect change in our lives and the world. There is a bigger vision of benefiting others, which will reduce self-importance. Life then becomes simple and straightforward.

Second Step: Acknowledge the Feminine Aspect of Life. It will bring balance and wholeness to the self as you discover a new source of power. This power is flexibility and clarity in the midst of chaos.

Third Step: Nonfeasance is the failure to act that is part of one’s responsibility and the consequence of not fulfilling your role in life.

Fourth Step: Give Attentiveness to the present with Mindfulness. Real Power is experienced in the present. Mindfulness allows you to connect with the wisdom and compassion of your higher self for better understanding and healing.

Fifth Step: Creative Visualization is the process of finding your inner guide for support and guidance.

Sixth Step: Evolve Beyond Suffering and enter a time of healing: healing that is more about letting go of those things that causes suffering.

Seventh: Align with the Eternal and Universal truth, awaken to the “Law of Life” that simultaneously permeate the universe and the individual self, experience wisdom, compassion, and courage.

Achieve your potential as a human being and awaken your heart of wisdom. Visualize a new story that transforms your life and co-create a culture of loving kindness, compassion, and understanding that will transform society.

Overall, the Seven Steps will develop your awareness and self-identity, enhance the quality of your life, and contribute to the realization of your dreams. In summary, the long-term goal of this Chap-Book and corresponding seminars and webinar are to establish the Value of Woman’s Work and empower a new generation of Black Women who will transform the world.

The second objective of this book is to reaffirm the role of women in society. We are the guardians of culture, which ensure the perennial nature of humanity. Join me as we create a vision of Womanist Leaders through Poetry and Talk.

An important aspect that will aid your Personal Transformation is the creation of an Empowerment Journal. Use it to reflect on the poetry and the step at the end of each chapter. In addition, you can create a video, visual art or poetry piece and write an excerpt that defines your benchmarks, goals, and stages as you progress through the Chap-Book.

You can post your reflections on my Facebook page; Womanist Empowerment or my Blog womanistempowermentseries.com.

The Feminine Path- Part I

A Seven Step Personal Transformation, The Great Awakening 2016, Transformational Leadership Project, Womanist Empowerment

A Seven-Step Personal Transformation

Introduction:

Greetings and thank you for the purchase of my Chap-book. I am a Sesheta, Cultural Transformation Catalyst, and Poet. The goal of this Chap-book is to empower a new generation of Womanist Leaders who lead through the Feminine Form.

This Chap-book will explore, through Poetry and Talk, a source of Feminine Power and the Essence of what it means to be a Black Woman in the Twenty-First Century.

My hope is that the reader begins to embody her Feminine Essence as a source of power and heal the wounds of her Emotional Body. This will take you on an internal journey and to the heart of what really matters to you.

As women, we are heirs to a grand mission, that of reconstructing society in the Twenty-First Century. Who is better acclimated to shape society than we women? It is a courageous endeavor that compels women to become leaders in the sector of society we find ourselves in.

But there are challenges we will face in the reconstruction of a genuine self. First, we carry a double burden, one is caring for the family, and the other is discrimination in the workplace. These two challenges hamper the process of personal transformation. Personal transformation demands that one find a place of quiet and serenity from which to contemplate life and the choices that were made and the decisions that have to be made in the future.

To address these challenges, I created the Womanist Empowerment Series and this Chap-Book. This book is for the Woman, who wants to discover an organic source of power which is fundamentally different than masculine power. It is Feminine Power, an organic energy source that transforms and empowers, not control and dominate.

Feeling shut out of Main Stream America, I searched for a way to honor my most creative ideas. The Seven Steps to Personal Transformation were the result. The Steps are part autobiographical, and part Buddhist Psychology sprinkled with wisdom gained through over twenty years in public education and twenty-seven years as practicing member of Nichiren Daishonin’s Buddhism.

Furthermore, the coming age is one of the Transformations which necessitates that Women be instrumental in co-creating a “Culture of Healing”, that is vital for the survival of all people on the earth. It is healing that is more about letting go of the things that cause us to suffer. Pain is an inevitable part of the human condition. On the other hand, suffering is a choice.

Another important aspect to develop in this, “Age of Transformation”, is Feminine Intuition. It is a deep knowing that will help you to learn the ways of the Storytelling Mind. The Mind loves stories, especially the ones it tells itself. Perhaps an adult unknowingly passed on a story for you. Or, you may have been ascribed to a story in your family and as a member of society. You can decide whether you want to continue to live that story or create a New Story that will transform your life. This Chap-Book will assist you with your Personal Transformation.

We Black Women lost an important connection to our traditional way of life. To gain that reconnection we must first acknowledge the inherent problems we have faced living in America.

The Black Woman’ mental health has been pushed to the rear. Our main concern has been to take care of the family and children which negated discovering a personal identity.

Thus our communities, families and ultimately the world have suffered tremendously.

To help you reconnect with your feminine intuition and utilize this Chap Book to its intended use, a webinar is planned for the summer of 2016 which will help assist you in the implementation of the Seven Steps.

One component of the Seven Steps is Mindfulness. Mindfulness is attentiveness to the presents and what is happening in your body, mind and spirit.

Mindfulness allows you the introspection to realize how important it is to encounter life as it is instead of how you think it should be. This will assist you in experiencing the unchanging nature of the Mind.

Through the practice of mindfulness, you will discover a greater purpose for your life as you awaken, nurture, and enhance the feminine gifts of intuition and second sight.

This Chap-Book also addresses the need for authentic leadership models for young women and the consequence of failing to fulfill one’s role in life. Readers will learn how to heal the heart and empower the Feminine Aspect of life and develop unique leadership skills.

As you read the series of Chap-Books, you will have the opportunity to adopt a feminine archetype for personal and professional success. The most important issue the book will address is the Social Status of Women and the role we will play in the Twenty-First Century

A 7-Step Transformation

Introduction:

Greetings and thank you for the purchase of my book. I am Sasheta, Cultural Transformation Catalyst, and Poet.I envision a new generation of Black Women who discover and embrace their feminine essence. This essence is the very source of your renewal. It will empower and transform you.

This manuscript is part autobiographical, and part Buddhist Psychology sprinkled with wisdom gained through over twenty years in public education and twenty-seven years as practicing member of Nichiren Daishonin’s Buddhism.

The goal of this book is to Empower and Transform the Black Woman through Poetry & Talk. We, women, are heirs to a grand mission, that of reconstructing the world in the Twenty-First Century. It is a courageous endeavor that compels us, women, to become leaders in our sector of society. Who is better acclimated to shape society than we women?

Because we carry a double burden, of caring for the family, and discrimination in the workplace, there are major hurdles to traverse as we stand up and become leaders.

This book is for the Woman, who wants to discover an organic source of power that is fundamentally different than masculine power. It is Feminine Power, that transforms and empowers, not control and dominate.

Furthermore, the coming age is one of the Transformations which necessitates that Women be instrumental in co-creating a “Culture of Empowerment”, that is vital for the survival of all people on the earth. It is empowering to let go of the things that cause us to suffer. Pain is an evitable part of the human condition. On the other hand, suffering is a choice.

Another important element for us, women in this “Age of Transformation” is to know the ways of the Storytelling Mind. It loves stories, especially the ones it tells itself. Perhaps an adult unknowingly passed on a story for you. Or, you may have absorbed a story in in your family and as a member of society. You can decide whether you want to continue to live that story or create a New Story that will transform your life.

This manuscript also speaks to the idea that the Black Woman’s cultural differences arrive from a collective heritage. We lost an important connection to our traditional way of life and we must acknowledge the inherent problems we face coming of age in America. I propose that because of our unknown Heritage, the Black Woman’s Role is one of community empowerment thus different from the White Woman’. Our lives are an ongoing journey towards reconnecting with what was lost.

No longer do I long to survive. My aspirations are to thrive. But first, I must acknowledge that the woman’s mental health has been pushed to the rear. Our main concern has been to take care of the family and children. This is the reason I developed A-Seven Step Transformation. The steps are a P.A.N.A.C.E.A. for Spiritual Transformation. They present a new and radically different way of viewing the self in the midst of relationships.

A webinar is planned for the summer of 2016 which will help guide you in the implementation of the Seven Steps. One component of the 7- Steps is Mindfulness. Mindfulness is attentiveness to what in happening in your body, mind, and spirit. You will realize how important it is to encounter life as it is instead of how you think it should be. This will assist you in experiencing the unchanging nature of the Mind.  Through the daily practice of mindfulness, you will discover a greater purpose for your life as you awaken, nurture, and enhance the feminine gifts of intuition and second sight.

This manuscript also addresses the need for authentic leadership models for young women and the consequence of failing to fulfill one’s role in life. Readers will learn how to heal the heart and empower the Feminine Aspect of life and develop unique leadership skills.

You will have the opportunity to adopt a feminine archetype for personal and professional success. The most important issue the book will address is the Social Status of Women and the role we will play in the Twenty-First Century.

Moreover, as you read the book, you will realize an authentic source of power hidden in the depths of your life. This is your Feminine Essence. Is it the key to reaching a powerful destiny? This essence is a foundation of capability. When discovered it will help you to begin to show up powerfully and create healthy relationships—the type of relationships that empower. There will no longer be a need to struggle for power when you step into your role in society.  We, women, are the ones whose sole responsibility it is to shape human life.

The Seven Steps are an open and refreshing view of life, which leads to healthy alternative patterns of giving and receiving love. As you begin to embody the feminine essence, you will start to empty your mind of the old ways of “Being in Relationships”, and become an Agent of Change in your family, society and ultimately the world.

This manuscript presents a radically different way of “Seeing and Being in Relationships.” Transform your life internally and develop within yourself a brilliant inner stronghold. Encounter life as it is, instead of the way you habitually see it and establish absolute happiness

Lastly, this manuscript defines the Spiritual Revolution we women must take part in to transform not only our lives but our families and communities. The “Seven Steps” will open the door to the vast inner life and guide you to a source of feminine power lying dormant in the depths of your life. It is a spiritual journey and the next movement in our collective story as Women in society. You will begin to experience the unchanging, true nature of your Mind and develop an autonomous identity as a human being. Step away from identification with the body and acquire a Spiritual Identification which will empower the “Feminine Aspect of Life,”.  You will have established an unshakable self.

The target audiences are female entrepreneurs, mothers who homeschool and women in education. Males are encouraged, but the emphasis is on developing a feminine source of power. The twenty-first century demands a New Human Community, and the New Human Community demands a new twenty-first century.

My Seven Steps Will Heal and Empower the Black Woman, which benefit both your personal and professional life. Step two is an adaption of Carl Jung’s Feminine archetypes as models of leadership. They are as follow: The Faerie, the Lover, and the Wise Queen. When you implement one of these universal attributes and align your intentions, mind, body, and soul, you become unstoppable. Society is ready for real women who are ready to show up authentically.

The steps are as follow:

First:  Powerful Purposefulness (Finding Your Place in the World)

The essential truth of life is, we each have boundless potential and power to affect change in our lives and the world. There is a bigger vision of benefiting others, which will reduce self-importance. Life then becomes simple and straightforward.

Fourth: Give Attentiveness to the present with Mindfulness. Real Power is experienced in the present, Mindfulness allows you to connect with the wisdom and compassion of your higher self for better understanding and healing.

Fifth: Creative Visualization is the process of finding your inner guide for support and guidance.

Sixth: Evolve Beyond Suffering and enter a time of healing, healing that is more about letting go of those things that causes suffering.

THE UNCHANGING NATURE OF MIND: Reconstructing the Fictitious Ego

A Seven Step Personal Transformation, Chronicle the Black Woman's Rise, Womanist Empowerment

#Transformation Leader

The ego is a concept rooted in the psychology of Sigmund Freud. He developed the model to explain the self in relation to an external world. It is a view he brought to the shores of America and the beginning of what we know as Neurosis. However, the evolution of knowledge produced a more efficient way to identify the self. It is through the lens of Buddhist Psychology that we can peer into the inner workings of mind and experience.

I want to propose that we black women adopt a different view of the self-based on the “Unchanging Nature of Mind”. This view reaches beyond the limitations of the ego and advances a radically different way to be.

Two-Thousand Sixteen is well into the new century. A new century demands a new human community and a new human family demands a new way to be. Having an open mind able to accept life as it is and find the grain of truth defines a new way to be in the world that brings us close to expressing our full humanity.

Mind’s essential nature is clear, discerning, intelligent, open, and free of fixation on one idea of how life is supposed to be. With its’ home in freedom, clarity and wisdom. It is flexibility in the midst of chaos; can see through the haze, the distortions, and untruth; has an expanded view of life. Mind encompasses the whole of life and knows intuitively how to respond.

To be a new human is to know the nature of your mind. Its essence is pure and unaffected by anything that has happened in your life. It sees life as a series of event that are related that can lead you to your higher self as you determine the pain you need to heal. The experiences you have in life bring you closer to your ideal self. When you have expended all the outer layers of the self, you will uncover a genuine self. It is your nature and you will find a genuine human community.

Mindfulness is a path to freedom and happiness away from the struggles of the ego. Mindfulness leads to joy and peace of mind. On the other hand, the ego confirms its identity based on the world that is ever changing. It fixes its identity to what is happening in the outside world clinging to a concept that has its origins in child’s mind.

Put your faith in this unchanging nature of mind.  It is a revolutionary way of viewing the self and the direct way to creating peace on earth

Mindfulness is a technique that one can utilize to see into the mind and find a grain of truth. This is where I stand on that tiny spot of truth. A truth that will free me from delusions and self-doubt, and I will find clarity and peace. In a disagreement with my son-in-law, I was able to disengage from the struggle and the need to be right and understand the dynamics of the relationship. I understood the nature of the battle. It was a struggle for control. Control based on the assumptions of the Ego that needs to be right.

What happened as I released the need for control was real genuine communication and respect. He stated, “We were two humans communicating,” and there was no need for a battle of the sexes.

Three Daily Practices that are a Part of the Poetry Empowerment Project

Building a Strong Inner LIfe through Poetry & Talk, Womanist Empowerment, Womanist Leadership

Three daily practices are part of the POETRY EMPOWERMENT PROJECT. They will help you get in touch with the deeper aspect of your life. Do them, at least, three to four times per week. First thing in the morning, you may want to take

First thing in the morning, you may want to take fifteen minutes of solitude. Take time to tune into The Body Intelligence. This may sound like a lot. However, you are worth the time; take it and be with yourself.
During this fifteen minutes take off your shoes, loosen your belt, clench, hold and release your muscles. You can do this in the morning or at night. While you are clenching and releasing your muscles say to yourself; what do I need to realize about my current situation? Listen to the answer. It is coming from a deeper place that knows.
The next thing for you to do is take the time to write first thing in the morning. They are called, “Morning Pages.” It is exactly three pages of writing. Just write, no editing. Again, just let this writing come from a deeper part of you that knows. Strange this may come up. Do not judge, just accept them. It may bring you clarity.
The last thing for you to do is the “Walk for Clarity”. Take a walk-in nature for about thirty minutes. As you walk, pay attention to your internal dialogue. As you become more accustomed to walking, you will begin to get in touch with your true nature. This is the time to commune with nature and the place inside yourself. Honor and love the wisdom in your life.
