Building a Powerful Society of Women

Building a Strong Inner LIfe through Poetry & Talk, New Millennium Poetry

We sat around the fire, embers lighting the night sky, we crawled inside the lodge built of stone. Steam filled the air as water was poured on hot rocks. Our heart and sweat intermingled in the intense heat. Out poured emotions that had been bottled up. Each tear that flowed carried away a small measure of pain the body and emotion had been spent. Left was a clarity of mind, heart and soul. We could begin to fill life with the new story we would create.
